Histori

Awal tahun (2004-2011)

The band was formed in early 2004 with the brothers Trevor and Matthew Wentworth, Tim Valich and Matthew Valich. They released their first EP, We Have Reinstated . They are still in high school and even then they attract more young audiences in the UK.

On October 17, 2005, the group released their second EP, Building Town from Scratch , but without the participation of Matthew or Tim. They were replaced by Nick Perricone on guitar and Joey Perricone on drums.

After several lineup changes, the group was completed in 2006 with Trevor Wentworth (vocals), Matt Wentworth (guitar and vocals), Colin Perry (guitar), Alex "Woody" Woodrow (bass guitar) and Tim Molloy (drums). In early 2007, the group signed with Epitaph Records, the day before they embarked on their first tour; Trevor was just 13 years old.

In August 2007, after spending some time at local clubs, Our Last Night was signed to Epitaph Records, a label owned by Bad Religion's Brett Gurewitz, and released their first album, The Ghosts Among Us , on March 4, 2008. It culminated in No. 6 on the Top Heatseekers (Northeast) Billboard ' on March 22, 2008. The group then toured the United States until the end of 2008, including a stopping time extension in Los Angeles to record new tracks.

Music styles

The sound of the band has been described as a mix of post-hardcore and alternative rock with some metalcore elements. The initial release features fewer vowel sections whereas contemporary materials are more melodious with an impure vowel role significantly reduced. Matt Wentworth sometimes plays a seven-stringed guitar that is dropped, which helps bring some thumbs up to the overall sound.
