Andrew A. Jacono, MD, FACS (born October 30, 1970) is an American Plastic Facial Surgeon who performs reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery, with offices in New York City and Long Island.
Jacono often appears on Discovery Fit & amp; Health television program Facing Trauma, as a volunteer surgeon who reconstructs a defective face in a harsh relationship and other situations of violence.

Careers
After completing his bachelor's degree in chemistry at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Jacono earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He completed his internship in general surgery at St Medical and Medical Center. Vincent, after which he completed his surgical residency at otorhinolaryngology in the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. Jacono then continued further training with an alliance in facial aesthetic and reconstructive surgery at the Lindsay House Center for Cosmetic Surgery and Reconstruction at the University of Rochester.
She is a board certified in facial and reconstructive plastic surgery and in otolargyngology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Contributed operating procedures
Jacono's study, "Deep Extension In Extended Aircraft (MADE) Facelift", leads to surgical procedures and incorporates features of the plane's face lift in with minimal access blockage of the skull. The expected result is a more significant vertical movement of the facial and jaw lines, leading to more natural results and also resulting in greater neck rejuvenation with a significant reduction in the need for additional tucks and hidden scars.
Another study, "Combining Transconjunctival Release and Midface-lift for Postblepharoplasty Ectropion Repair", co-authored by Dr. Benjamin Stong and appeared in the May/June 2010 issue of Archives of Facial Plastic Surgery.
Volunteer work
Jacono is the national chairman of the Face to Face, an organization that caters to children who were wounded in war or suffered from birth defects, from 2007 to 2010. Face to Face was founded by the American Academy for Plastic Surgery and Facial Reconstruction and an expert match surgical members with children requiring reconstructive plastic surgery. They work closely with the National Range Violence Project to match surgeon members who are willing to donate plastic and reconstructive surgery to women who have been in a rough relationship.
Jacono also serves as a senior adviser for "About the Face: Making a Change", an annual gala in the New York City area that raises funds for victims of domestic violence. He has been a volunteer surgeon for Beyond Our Borders, who brought children in developing countries to the United States for surgery to correct defects caused by cancer, trauma and birth defects, especially cleft palate and cleft palate. In addition, he has donated his surgical skills to "Healing a Child", an organization that treats similar defects in Columbia and Thailand.

Jacono is a single father with two sons (born in 1997 and 2005) and two daughters (born in 1999 and 2010).
