Elastic Path is a "headless" e-commerce system, enabling eCommerce without templates to be integrated as an intermediary into the Company's ERP system. The system is API-based and is specifically targeted at the Enterprise-level Organizations. Elastic Path is a private company based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada with sales offices in UK and USA.

Elastic Path was started by Harry Chemko in 2000, with co-founders Mark Williams, Ryan Orr, and Jason Billingsley, having completed the university with an initial $ 15,000 loan from a nonprofit organization. In 2005, Harry received the Young Entrepreneur Award to become the youngest CEO in PROFIT Hot 50.
