Ted Lockwood (May 19, 1945 - 2005) is an aesthetic plastic surgeon in private practice and an assistant clinical professor of plastic surgery at the University of Kansas Medical School in Kansas City, Kansas.
Lockwood develops an abdominoplasty procedure, lifting the lower body, which incorporates a liposuction sculpture tool with a lifting operation that shifts the tissue "back to its original place."
In 2005, Lockwood died at the age of 59, after a year-long struggle with brain cancer.
