Douglas S. Steinbrech , MD, FACS, (born 1965) is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon affiliated with Lenox Hill Hospital, NYU Langone Medical Center in New York City and New York Eye and Ear Infirmary Of Mount Sinai and NYU Langone Medical Center. She is currently training with Dr. Philip J. Miller at Gotham Plastic Surgery in New York City and specializes in plastic surgery

Education and training
Steinbrech received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Iowa College of Liberal Arts and Sciences in 1988. Later, he studied at medical school at the University of Carver College of Medicine where he graduated in 1994.

Steinbrech was certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 2006. He is currently a clinical instructor at New York University, practicing in Gotham Plastic Surgery, and is a member of several medical communities including the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Medical Association.
