Lisa Kelly (born December 8, 1980) is an American truck driver who has appeared on the reality television series of the Ice Road Truckers and his spinoff series IRT: Deadlyest Roads . From Seasons 3-5 and 7-11. Ice Road Truckers has followed Kelly and his friends as they walk along the cold Dalton Highway from Fairbanks to Prudhoe Bay, often hauling "big" payloads. Kelly also performed at Seasons 1-2 from IRT: Deadlyest Roads . Kelly is famous as the only female driver featured in the series until Maya Sieber joins Season 5, and Stephanie "Steph" Custance in season 10. Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, she now lives in Wasilla, Alaska.

Kelly was born on December 8, 1980, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. His family moved to a mini farm in Sterling, Alaska when he was six years old. He returned to Grand Rapids, Michigan for college, attended Cornerstone University for a semester before deciding it was not for him.

Careers
Before his appointment as Ice Road Trucker, Kelly worked as a school bus driver and a motocross rider. He also works at gas stations, and pizza companies and is the country's freestyle motocross champion. After this venture, he decides to complete a long-term career and is trained as a truck driver because 'looks interesting'. He then got a driving job for Transport Carlile, an Alaskan freight company. Being a woman, Kelly says this is a difficult achievement. "I have to work twice as hard, I have to pull my weight and all others and finish the job as fast or faster";
TV Shows
Kelly is one of the truck drivers for the Ice Road Truckers History Channel . He first appeared in season 3 (Seasons 1 and 2 was set in Canada) in 2009, as the only woman. He then took part in season 4 (in 2010) and season 5 and 7.
He also took part in the History Channel's Ice Road Truckers: Deadlyest Roads with Rick Yemm, Dave Redmon and Alex Debogorski's truck in the Himalayas in India; the following season, he was driving in Bolivia and Peru.
Journalist Kaye O'Hara claims that Kelly was offered a contract to return to the show for season six, but she refused. According to the show producer, Kelly is off for a year. Kelly is back in season 7, and in season 9, he worked at the new company Darrell Ward before his death after season 10. He has just finished season 11.
Personal life
In 2008, Lisa married Traves Kelly, after dating her for four years. He is full of Aleut Native Alaska and a diligent dirtbiker. They have no children. His hobbies include motocross, horseback riding, parachuting, hang gliding and snowboarding. He has a miniature horse, named Rocky and a cat named Tanzi. Before filming the Ice Road Truckers: Deadlyest Roads in the Himalayas, Kelly decided that he would find and bring a pup for the show. On the show he named this dog Rampur Jackson, and the dog that was eating/drinking on the street was mainly handled by his Indian maid, Tashi. The dog was given to one of the show's producers after filming.
